The other night at my first church Zumba class someone asked me how much weight I had lost. Without even thinking I said 50pounds. After I said that I actually did the math in my head and it's true. As of my weight last Sunday I have lost 50 pounds. I am on the downward side of my goal!!! 43 more pounds and I will be at my goal. This is very exciting!
Another cool little milestone is at the Y, you know how they only have those little towels for you to dry off with. Well most the time I am lazy and don't bring my own towel. the other day when the girls and I went swimming I wrapped the towel around me and it stayed!!! I have lost enough weight that those little towels go all the way around me and actually stay put! Granted it gapped the whole way down so it wasn't like I was covered up, but I'm not sure when the last time I could do that was. So, like a said it was a little goal, but very exciting!
Just one other tiny victory, butI give every bit of praise to God for the will power is...I have not had a SINGLE piece of Halloween candy. No even 1 M&M. God has just kind of taken away the desire. We have two pumpkin buckets full on the counter, but I don't even really want it. ANd I will tease the girls and say "where is Mommy's???" They both gladly share, but I always politely decline. It is crazy, but God is doing a miricale and I am so Thankful to all the hard work he is doing on me right now.
